If you are interested in sponsoring a specific child, CAEPA CAMEROON will provide you with relevant information about the orphan. Every 3 months, you will also get a report on the situation of your sponsored child.These reports include general information, updates on their schooling and their health, new pictures as well as an overview of the general expenditures. This way, the sponsor will be able to see what their money is being spent on and how the needs of the child are being met.
CAEPA CAMEROON will also play the role of connector between the sponsor and the child. If the sponsor wants to get in touch with the sponsored child, he or she can send letters or any other material to CAEPA CAMEROON. CAEPA CAMEROON will also forward to you any letter that the child wishes to send to the sponsor. The sponsor can also talk to the child on Skype or on yahoo messenger using a webcam
HOW TO START SPONSORING A CHILD
Phase 1: If you decide to sponsor one of the orphans, please send an e-mail to caepa@ymail.com. Please put subject as “Sponsor an orphan today”. You should also specify in the e-mail how you would like to contribute. CAEPA CAMEROON will provide you with more information on the child and will answer all your questions.
Phase 2: After requesting basic information about the orphan and you are satisfied and willing to sponsor the child, you can then direct your donation to CAEPA Cameroon for onward transmission. If you have any problems with the setting up of this transfer, please contact us.
Phase 3: CAEPA CAMEROON will inform you if the transfer has been successfully received. Now, CAEPA CAMEROON will update you quarterly on the situation of the child and send new pictures. CAEPA CAMEROON may also contact you in case of emergency or about any extra needs of the child. In order to establish a more personal relationship with the child, CAEPA CAMEROON will also need more information about you. Therefore please send an e-mail with some basic information about yourself (name, age, profession, hobbies, favorite food and any other information you wish to share with your child).
